Noooooo, my subscription expired. D; But, uh, anyways...

This isn't Katma Tui. <_<

I think maybe some of you know that Sinestro has been genderswapped on the Stormstruck RPG. Have I ever told you all how rad Sinestra is? Trust me, I was weary of the decision at first, but you wouldn't believe how well it works for the character. It feels as if Sinny's aura is more intense and rich now. Can't explain it thoroughly. One o' those instances where gender augments rather than falls flat or subtracts.

This was a birthday present for Fairspeth, the member who plays Sinestra. SUPER GLAD YOUR MOMMA HAD YOU, SPIFFY. Thanks for sticking around for so long! You're one of my favorite persons ever, so don't ever stop being crazy and fun to hang with.

Most def! Sinestro is quite the character in that aspect. I'm glad I was able to emulate such a concept. :] Thanks so much for commenting.

Stormstruck looks interesting, but not for me. As for this awesome image, VERY well done. I hated that they killed her off in the comics and never brought her back.

Don't worry. When the comics let you down, head for the tablet or the Word processor! I fully support fan media. Its an individual's way of fixing canon. x3 Thank you for the compliment!

Very good. As for the gender-swap, that's probably just a mark of good writing. Even in the comics, Sinestro was always a little... flat, to me. So in all likelihood, Sinestra is more interesting simply because she's now a more fully-fleshed out character. But yes, I DO think it works well for her.

Sinestro was never supposed to be a "mwuahaha" villain, but a man with his own version of justice. If he is regarded a bit more, all he really wants is peace throughout the universe, and that amassing power to eradicate any and all threats to the established order will bring about unity, something he believes the Guardians are incapable of making the sacrifices necessary to carry out. Fascist indeed, and definitely draconian in a lot of his plots, but the last thing he considers himself is a bad guy. He thinks he's fighting the good fight.

But this is me rambling again. Bleh. It can be hard to stick up for certain characters when they're hardly ever written consistently, so I could be inaccurate. But yeah, I love how well the gender change worked out for the character. Thanks so much for sharing your opinion.

No, I getcha. Some versions of Sinestro do seem a bit "mwuahaha", mostly animated adaptions, but in the comics (and, for some reason, Green Lantern: Emerald Knights) Sinestro is not truly evil. But yes, from what little I've seen Sinestra is a good character.
