Yeah, memes! HOLY CRAP. HUMAN OCS. HAR. NO. YE NO. I CAN'T TAKE THE CHAAAAANNNANGE omgshrivels.

Jeepers! It is true after all. I really do have brain children. These people are for one particular story, called "Firebourn". It's getting more and more complicated by the day, especially their abilities and how they got them, so any info I divulge here will be pretty crude. I don't want to bore anyone. OC stuff is not as exciting as DC stuff, I understand. u_u

So... originally I was going to draw the JLA, then I noticed "OC" in the meme's title, so I made a u-turn in the nick of time. xD

Okay! Explanamations time! The lowdown is that these guys (excluding the old guy) have absentmindedly performed a ritual that caused their spiritual reservoirs to become linked, strengthening them as a result. Because of this they are able to manifest their energy on the physical plane. Together they form what's known as a Circle. The antagonists usually consist of corrupted Circle variations, a jelly society who call themselves the Befitting, the hex-making Doom Spinners, and spiritual enemies they either attract or pull into the physical plane.

Isaac Samuel Blankenship / Pop "Wh - wha? Why? Why am I Pop? You ran out of slots, didn't you?"
Shield of Faith // Emits a transparent, invulnerable forcefield. He can also project concussive forces. His weaknesses are high places and being separated from the ground.
Sense: Touch

Lucky Cynthia Rey / Rock "Lucky's rockin'. That's me. I'm hardboiled. Whoo! >8D"
Breastplate of Righteousness // Can summon effigies that act as guardians. Her weaknesses are animal attacks and drawing dangerous humans to her location.
Sense: Sight

Noah Warsaw / Metal "AADLODYGFHSHFDhdfdkdHDHDKEtodshdgfff! (I break metal objects.)"
Sword of Spirit // Power to emit/solidify light and use it both as a physical force and as a means of defense. His weaknesses are water and the cold.
Sense: Scent

Peter McLean / Classical "Oh... Classical's... okay. ... Goodbye."
Belt of Truth // Sprout prehensile appendages, particularly wrist whips and a tail. His weaknesses are wood and poisons made from plants.
Sense: Hearing

Gamila Sophia Núñez / Hip Hop "Bingo. How else am I supposed to dropkick people and chase the girly around without a beat, uh?"
Boots of Peace // Possesses leg-oriented acrobatics, enhanced strength, reflexes, and durability. Her weaknesses are closed spaces and underground areas.
Sense: Taste

Sage Stephen Meadows / Jazz "L, is for the way you loo-- oh, wrong genre."
Helmet of Salvation // Can phase into mist, pass through solid objects, and attain flight. His weaknesses are fire and heat.
Sense: Sixth

Malachi Castor Riddle / EATS LEMONZ "Eyes on me, stranger. Not my Earl Grey."
Bowtie of Coolness // Has a concealed weapons permit and can throw hooligans into caged rooms. He can also teach a mean Criminology 101 class. His weaknesses are 12 ft walls and forgetting to take his pills.

Can you believe that Mali used to look like this? [link] LOL! Animu. I guess the years haven't been kind to him. Also, the lemon thing is such an old inside joke I don't even think I can explain it properly now. Mali's my oldest OC. He's been around since I was 12. Granted, he was mullet-wearing shirtless demon hunter back then, but whatever. the only thing that has failed to change is his grumpiness.
