Hal and his Lantern Ring. One of my favorite couples in the DC Universe. XB

In an alternate universe of mine Hal receives the ring around his late teens - early twenties. Because Hal has yet to understand his responsibilities and the fact that the ring is always eager for him to to hand out justice, more often than not the ring likes to drag him around to places that call for his assistance by piloting him there... without his permission. What's worse is that it often happens when he least expects it - like when he's brushing his teeth - or sleeping. So this is Hal scolding his alien jewelry after it dropped him right in the middle of a gang war. ROFL

I don't know why he's not wearing his suit. Maybe he's fighting for control with the ring. In that case the next scene would involve him falling. xD

And it looks like there's a storm coming too. Poor guy.

By the way, I kinda sorta based my version of Hal off of Chris Pine. I've found lately that using specific actors/actresses for charas really help to differentiate their features. I recommend it. :]

EDIT: Fixed some anatomy issues. I hope.

EDIT EDIT: I also noticed that I put the ring on the wrong finger. FAIL.

Ha ha, why do i always imagine this being said with Nathan Fillion's vice XD. Nice job on the picture, i like the idea behind young!Hal here, but i dont think the ring would pick/stay with him if he were that irresponsible. Still its funny to imagine.

P.S. I don't know if you have seen it yet, but i was so, so very disapointed with the Green Lantern movie. Just... ugh. Some one really dropped the ball there. As a big fan of Green Lantern, im really disappointed in how bad this movie turned out to be. It would have been nice to see soething on the level of the Superman and Batman movies, but nope. sigh...
