Gift Art - Faena

This for the one and only DarkDragon featuring Faena, her dragoness of royal blood. She's been drawing all of these fantastic drawings of my dragon, Ollow, so I scoured her gallery for the slightest hint of a persona. I was almost ready to call it quits and draw one of her beloved franchise characters instead, but at the last second I noticed a recurring black dragon in her older submissions. Hope you don't mind that I resurrect this character, Dark. Haha.

I was planning on drawing the band on her neck initially, a detail that states her royalty. Dangit, it slipped my mind. Also, I tend to miss-translate details every now and then. This time it was pretty major. Faena isn't supposed to be furry -- she has large scales instead. The blue spike on her head was also played with a little too much. I'm sorry, DD. ;-; I'm sure I'll draw her again soon anyway! She was such a joy to conceptualize and illustrate.

It's been a while since you drew Faena yourself, Dark. Give it a shot the next time you get the chance. I'd looooove to see it, and observe if there are any revisions or stylistic changes. :]
