Like Saving a Fish from Drowning

EDIT: Moved to Scraps, dude. :/ I hate this thing. It was the result of a drawing bug biting me yesterday and it came out so baaaaad. It's nothing like how I wanted it, and apparently I suck at perspective. And feet. And painting beaches. And wet clothes. And ugh. I don't think the characters even look like themselves.

I'll explain a bit though. It's a concept for my personal Justice League project. Each character meets another before the group actually forms, and Hal Jordan and Avery Curry (chick version of Aquaman ala here: [link]) meet in a rather fateful manner. Hal catches sight and sound of a girl supposedly being dragged out to sea as he's driving by, so he jumps in like the fearless jet pilot trainee he is and hauls her out, only to find out that she had been injured by... something.

Their time at the hospital proves to be even more crazy. Heeheehahaha.
