They've been watching that criminal front all night. Guess they'll be headin' home soon.
World's Finest, indeed. <3 Been wanting to draw something like this for a while - Clark and Bruce having a casual in-costume moment, because that's the kind of stuff I like about DC characters. Those people know when to be nonchalant. When you reach a point where you don't care if you munch on fast food in front of your friends while in costume and on duty, you got something rad there.
I'm getting pretty obsessive over these pink/orange pastel color pallets. But... but out of all the other combinations on the color wheel they look the best! To me anyway...
My sister and I have a running joke where we try to replace copywritten elements with parody placeholders to avoid (imaginary) lawsuits, much like the kind of stuff the industry likes to pull. NukaCola and Buckstars are examples. So although you can't see it at this resolution, their meal is from Burrito Baron, our Burger King spin-off. xDD
Ham and Armor (Arm and Hammer) and the Diamond R (Circle K) are just a couple of others we've made up. Except Diamond was a real place across the street from our previous apartment. We thought it was bloody hilarious.
So Clark's nomming a BURRITO. Not a long croissant/baguette thing. Kay? Dx *Fails at drawing food in general.*
Bruce has a pretty bulky belt. And he didn't finish his French toast sticks. DISHONOR ON HIM AND HIS WHOLE... Alfred.
Technically he doesn't need water either, but he was raised on food during his Smallville years, so he tends to eat even though he doesn't need to, and I don't blame em. He's even a fan of rootbeer floats and Philly cheese steaks.
Supes has never really been a creature of down-to-earth science (which I'm thankful for - makes him more fun). From what I've seen/read, he can survive completely off of solar power if need be.
I don't mean the show. It's in the comics. Ma and Pa wouldn't have thought to starve him. Haha.
LOL. Well, considering that he can fly down to Philly in a snap, maybe he knows what a real pcs is.
You know, Supes is solar powered, he only needs water to stay hydrated.
Awesome work, cool concept!
But he is nuclear so maybe not.
The Hulk too, he's gamma powered.
I never watched Smallville.
I hope the Philly cheese steaks were 1005 authentic, because 99% of so called Philly cheese steaks outside Philly are 100% not even partially right.

This is really brilliant!!!
Fantastic job!!!!!!!!!!
