EDIT: I have dedicated this piece to the victims of the earthquake that shook the borders of Tokyo not too long ago. My prayers and hopes go out to them. May God watch over those people affected.

Done at last! And surprisingly, it didn't take very long. Whoa, man. I actually colored a full-blown scene. O_o And I must say I did a very lazy coloring job on this thing, yet I think it still came out okay. Watch, I'm gonna hate it tomorrow. I always do.

Thupermaaaaaaan. He's so nice. D'aaaw. Okay, who wouldn't save a child? But still...

You know, the sun beam falling on their hands was completely unintentional. I just put it wherever, and look where it ended up. xD IT WAS FATE. Is the lighting correct? I dunno. But playing with the colors was fun. Inserting a random green glow was totally worth it.

I'm open for critiques concerning this pic. I'm sure there are plenty of flaws I need my attention drawn to, so have at it if you like. :]

I'm in tears. This completely captures Superman - the best, most gentle, most dependable friend you could ever hope for. Bravo.

Tears? I'm stunned! I'm eternally grateful that a little art piece of mine could move anyone in such a way. I'm a bit of the sobbing type myself, actually. :] It's even more wonderful to run across people who appreciate the boyscout for the same reasons that I do. Thank you very much for your comment.

Ill admit Batman is my favorite hero but how can you not love Superman? A damn demi-god on Earth but still the most kind and compassionate man there is, Great Work!

Most definitely. For someone who can level buildings and travel through space, he's possibly one of the most grounded guys you could ever meet. His morals are fundamental, the thing he admires in people are purely their humanity, and even though his world view is clearer than most, he's still looking optimistically to the future, knowing he'll be there for the ride along with the rest of us. It's a comforting thought for Americans, I'm sure. :] Thank you so much for your comment.

In one image, what sets him apart from everyone else. He helps others not because he has to. It's because he loves to.

Perfect. Kudos.
