with a Batman meme instead of this meme, because everyone and their grandma hates Superman. D; Batman meme located here: [link]
And here's the meme I did, created by ~AppreciatesArt
Oh no, you can see my cruddy handwriting. This was what I've been working on for half a week. Right now I'm on a Superman kick that's so strong, he's all I've been drawing since last Monday. I... really don't get it. I don't even know how this all came about, or what on earth started it.
I figured that if I completed a meme I'd get myself Supermaned-out. It didn't work.
On the bright side, this sudden obsession with Kent is helping me learn more about the DC Universe, which was something I've been meaning to do ever since I went through that intense Marvel phase many months ago.
I don't like the drawing for question 2. It doesn't look like Superman to me. :/ Pffft, and I couldn't get away with leaving Batman out of this. He puts the 'lol' in any situation.
Concerning question number 8 - don't know if it was clear enough or not, but my answer was Fleischer's Superman cartoons from the 1940's. Screenshots: [link] [link]
I watched all of them, and they were crazy-awesome! The sheer depth and artistry of the backgrounds were what wooed me, and I've always loved the effect when you use live actors and draw over them to achieve a fluid movement in the animation (Snow White / Pinocchio, etc). Really classy stuff.
I'm surprised at how well I drew Reeve. Him an his turtle lips. XD
Yes, I completely remixed the layout of the meme. It was looking all white and lonely before. Now it be PRETTAY.
Supes likes to point a lot. And check out his magical shape-shifting belt
, for no two are the same.
Um, expect more DC/Superman stuff in the future. I bet all of the creature artists watching me hate me now. D; I'm sorry! If you look at my interests, I like both creature designs and
superheroes. My gallery will likely be filled with an equal amount of both.
Bangladesh, there's a typo on the newspaper.
