WF: Brave Horizon - Chapter One, Page 8

Eight pages in and I finally got to my main man! <3 He needs a comb though. Sheesh.

Awesome harvester references: www.gandoza.com/generic-combin… As you can see, I fabricated like half of the vehicle because the back end had to be short enough so Clark wouldn't bonk his head on it. The angle in the fifth panel I completely made up, and it shows. ._. Dude, why are those tires so complimicated?!

Putting aside my need to draw Clark in hilariously cliche adorable farm clothes, the overalls are a nod to the "Superman for All Seasons" graphic novel, which has become a big inspiration for our interpretation of the character and his hometown. :] Thanks, Aracely, for the wonderful Christmas present!

Pa's appearance is based off of Harrison Ford, except he didn't turn out looking like him. xD Probably a good thing.
